Sweet Potato fries recipe
INGREDIENTS:
Sweet Potato - 500 grms
Rice flour - 2 tsp
All purpose flour/maida - 2 tsp
Corn flour - 2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Water - 3/4 cup
Oil for deep frying
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the sweet potato skin, cut it into thick sized stick.
2. Wash the potato sticks until no starch is left.
3. Into a mixing bowl, add rice flour, all purpose flour, corn flour, salt, water and mix into a lump-free batter.
4. Dip the sticks in the batter and drop it into hot oil.
5. Deep fry for 5 minutes and then drain it.
6. Now heat the oil in high flame, fry the sticks for 2 minutes until it turns golden crisp. Drain it.
7. Toss salt and chilli powder into the fries and serve hot.
