How to make butter sponge cake
Ingredients:
10 eggs
350g of sugar
350g of wheat flour
2 Teaspoons of vanilla
3 Tablespoons of melted butter
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
How to make:
Separate the egg whites and yolks. Beat until slightly browned. Add a little sugar to it and continue beating. Once it is well beaten, add the yolks one by one and beat. Add flour and baking powder and sift three times.
Add it to the first mixture alternately with the butter and mix well. Finally add the flour. Now add the vanilla to it. Place the buttered greaseproof paper on a 10x10 inch tray. Add the cake mixture and bake at 150 C° (300 F°) for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, scrape off an even piece / toothpick and check that the cake is baked (if the toothpick is clean, the cake is baked).
