 Afternoon orange Tea cake



Ingredients


  • Two cups of butter 

  • Three cups of flour

  • Orange rind powder from four oranges (orange surface gently Great and orange rind to get powder.)

  • ½ cup of Orange juice 

  • 2 tbsp of fine cut orange kandy pieces 

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda

  • 2 1/2 cup of sugar 

  • Six  large eggs

  • 1 cup of sour cream


 How to make


  • Preheat the oven to 180C°.

  • Spread butter on a baking tin.Put a tablespoon of flour in it.Then remove extra flour.

  • Take a glass bawl and mix flour,baking soda,orange rind powder and orange kandy pieces.

  • Now take another bawl and add butter,sugar and beat fast for four minutes until creamy,

  • Then add one egg at a time and beat slowly and add the orange juice.

  • Divide the flour mixture into three portions and put it into the mixture. Add a little bit of sour cream with it. Do not beat, stir with a wooden spoon.

  • Stop mixing as soon as it is well mixed. Put the butter in the pre-prepared cake tin and bake for 55 to 60 minutes until the cake turns golden brown.

  • If desired, mix three tablespoons of icing sugar with three tablespoons of orange juice and place on top of the cake.
